I want one in my hometown!
Friendly service. When we commented on the big portion they said we don't want anyone to walk away hungry.
For $10 I got a god portion of pork, three California rolls, gyoza, rice , pickled yummy salad and miso soup. I was stuffed. Every part of it was flavorful. Inside it is small and probably geared more for takeaway service. -

Wow, the Beef Teriyaki Bento Box was so flavorful! It had generous portions and it kicks the bento box from Tokyo Joe's out of the water. The meat was marinated so well, the rice was fresh and soft, the sunomono was seasoned, and the salad and 4 pieces of sushi was all filling.
I just love hole-in-the-wall restaurants. Just tastes more authentic. The owners seemed like they take pride in their food.
I also ordered a sushi burrito and I had to take that to go because I was so full from my bento box. The sushi burrito was pretty good. Not as good as the sushi burritos I had back in California, but better than King Soopers' sushi burritos. I ordered the spicy tuna and it was a large burrito. I felt like it was all reasonably priced too.
The owners were friendly and asked how it tasted. I gave them a thumbs up. I cannot wait to try more of their menu! -

Family has pride in what they are doing. Appropriate price for downtown but I wish they would have a loyalty program for locals.
Spicy pork and brisket are good. Bowls are filling and bentos are varied. You can ask for more or less spicy and service is always polite.
A lot of variety including sushi rolls and sushi burritos!
Only a few tables. Yet I've always found room and all of their to go containers are very well made.
Most importantly, their food has well balanced flavor. Nothing bland or over powering. -

While this restaurant is in the heart of downtown, the second you walk in, you feel the love of a mom pop shop. This restaurant is small with just a few tables to sit and eat but that's not a bad thing at all in my opinion. The service was friendly and the food was delicious! I got a chicken teriyaki bento box and it was wonderful. It was quit a bit of food, so the bang for your buck is huge. Will for sure come back here

Very confused how this place has such high ratings. I just ordered 2 poke bowls and all of the salmon and tuna pieces in BOTH bowls were completely frozen! How do you not realize you are serving frozen fish? Inedible and a complete waste of money.
